The Flydamp replaces conventional dampers, flywheels and torsional elastic couplings and is mounted instead of the original flywheel. The damper part reduces engine excited torsional vibrations in crankshafts of diesel and gas engines or reciprocating compressors.
The coupling part displaces torsionally critical speeds and dampens unavoidable torsional vibrations in all types and sizes of machines.
