The Vdamp is mounted on the free end of the crankshaft of a diesel or gas engine
(2- or 4-cycle).The Damper reduces engine excited torsional vibration in the crankshaft, the propeller shaft and the intermediate shaft. Furthermore the Vdamp helps to avoid barred speed ranges. In addition this damper can also be employed on the engine camshaft as well as directly on intermediate and propeller shaft.
