Geislinger wins Salzburg’s Business Award “WIKARUS”

Geislinger won first prize in the category “Company of the year” and could outperform strong competitors such as Daniel Oppeneiger KG, Radstadt, IMLAUER Hotel & Restaurant GmbH, Salzburg, SIG Combibloc GmbH & Co KG, Saalfelden and Voglauer Geschwandtner & Zwilling GmbH, Abtenau.

WIKARUS has been awarded for the eleventh time and demonstrates the impressive performance of Salzburg’s enterprises which leads to a vibrant economic region. The trophy “Ikarus” by Zoltán Pap is awarded in the category “Company of the year” to established, sustainably successful enterprises. Besides the entrepreneurial performance, the jury is particularly interested in the regional importance and the corporate culture. Further decisive factors are special achievements in the year 2018 as well as the innovative approach of the company.

Geislinger could convince the jury by its outstanding performance in 2018. Besides its 60th anniversary which proves the entrepreneurial sustainability, Geislinger celebrated 25 years of its innovative carbon fibre product line. Additionally, the largest ever investment program as well as innovative and outstanding product solutions distinguish the family-owned company.
