The Geislinger Flexlink is a misalignment coupling specifically designed for heavy-duty applications. It provides low reaction forces even with maximum misalignments in axial-, radial-, and angular directions. This reduces the bearing loads and helps to avoid torsional excitations, which in turn increases the service life of the drivetrain. The Geislinger Flexlink is resistant to heat and oil.

The Geislinger Flexlink is a flexible coupling and compensates high axial-, angular- and, in a dual version, radial shaft misalignments. Its proven maintenance-free design and high permissible torques make it a solution for all applications – particularly if long service life and reliability are critical requirements.

Torsional excitations are avoided, elongating the lifetime of the drive train. The Geislinger Flexlink also delivers a high-power density, resulting in a very compact design. Combined with other Geislinger products, a compact and reliable coupling solution is provided – customized to your system.

The coupling consists of inner and outer steel components which are connected to pairs of crossed steel links. The Geislinger Flexlink is a torsional stiff coupling which provides a low bending stiffness and an exceedingly long functional life. It provides outstanding torque density and robustness, even in demanding configurations and surroundings.

A Flexlink element in combination with a torsional elastic Geislinger Coupling or another Flexlink element provides a cardanic system which compensates radical misalignments. The Geislinger Flexlink design also has an emergency backup system, which is an important factor when considering solutions for marine propulsion applications.
