The Geislinger SAE-Coupling is based on a modular concept. Its enlarged oil volume and renowned fatigue resistant steel springs lead to a long service life. Resistant to heat and oil, the Geislinger SAE-Coupling is the perfect solution for installations in harsh environments and tight installation space with low air ventilation.

The compact Geislinger SAE-Coupling is a torsional elastic steel spring coupling with hydrodynamic damping properties. The technology behind the extraordinarily reliable Geislinger steel spring coupling has proven its reliability for more than 60 years. Due to its robustness and low maintenance costs, the Geislinger SAE-Coupling is the first choice for a wide variety of applications. The standard SAE connection interface allows for a wide range of engine-applications without additional design modifications.

Available in four different stiffness levels, the SAE-Coupling adapts perfectly to the stiffness and torque required by specific applications. To cover all possible installation situations, customized adapters with splined interfaces are available and capable of connecting to the coupling’s inner part, thus enabling axial movement. The composite membrane enables thermal expansion of the oil and allows a rapid oil exchange by flushing. The stiffness of the coupling leaf springs can be precisely tuned to isolate or move harmful natural frequencies. In addition, the Geislinger SAE-Coupling dampens torsional vibrations.

The Geislinger SAE-Coupling allows for continuous operation within the speed range of the driven system, obtaining lower stresses in shafts and gears.
